I drive a Toyota Tacoma 4x4. I originally bought the TF-HL-97 several years ago. Worked OK for the road, but not off-roading. When it finally failed, I was looking for a replacement unit and saw this model. While designed for motorcycle use, the full cradle keeps the phone in place regardless of the vehicle movement through spring tension. Because it is designed for Motorcycle use, the power cord is built in, so I must work around that, but it comes with a USB-A connector, so I just need to rework how my wiring runs since my old one used USB-C. Because its spring loaded (vs my old motorized one) it should last quite a while. Additionally, it has a mounting system designed to take the shock and micro-movement from Motorcycles (and off-roading) and is much less likely to suffer from the problem I had with the old unit where the ball-socket kept loosening up from the main charger.
While I haven’t taken it off-road yet, I can tell from the construction and mounting that it will be much more stable AND able to hold the phone under the bouncing conditions. This will make it MUCH EASIER to use my mapping software since I won’t have to find where my phone bounced off to anymore.
The cradle worked fine with my existing mounting system. My original has a 2” arm from the ball mount on my dash, then a barbell from the arm to the ball socket on my original cradle. Because this one has the ball instead of a socket, I just removed the barbell from the extension arm and placed the cradle ball mount in the extension arm instead. Mount has been rock solid.

I mounted my Adventure Phone Holder with Wireless Charging | Vibration Dampening | 20mm Ball (Bar Clamp Not Included) on my 2025 Road Glide. I mounted the phone holder with a mirror mount that uses a 25mm ball that I already owned. I replaced the 20mm ball that came installed on my mount with a 25mm ball that I also already had. The mounts fits perfectly. I love the fit and finish of this all aluminum design. I think there is room for improvement though. I would prefer a better connector instead of the SAE connector. Although the SAE connector is simple and sturdy, I would prefer something that was more water proof since the mount is always exposed to the elements such as dust and rain. Better yet would be a type C connector that would plug into the phone holder and having the opposite end be a positive and negative lead that the installer could wire to the batter or an accessory port. I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it to others.

I paired the Adventure holder with a 4.75” pump suction cup and a 7” arm and I could not be happier!
This is a rock solid mount that has NO movement no matter what I am driving over!
The Pump cup was not recommended for cars, but I DO recommend it!
Got the 3.5 cup recommended for cars for my wife but again recommend the pump cup over that lever arm cup….
Pump has not come loose ever and is easy to just keep tight with a pump if needed.

Excellent mount and charger for my 2019 Ultra Limited. Just what I’ve come to expect from Tackform. This is my 5th mount that I’ve purchased. None of them have failed , I just upgraded for me and my wife.

I had the series 20 holder until I upgraded my phone. I have a 2001 Honda Valkyrie, and had the smaller holder down near the risers. I purchased the Adventure model and readjusted the mount and it works perfect. Now that it's mounted, time to get the wiring done.
I called about some questions, and they gave me 20% off. Your company rocks !!

I should have got this a long time ago. Now I do not have to worry about cords or if I get contamination in my charging port do your self a favor and have one less thing to worry about and just ride.

This unit is solid and highly configurable to fit a wide array of phones. My Pixel 7Pro is completely secure when riding my dual sport motorcycle on and off-road (Honda 450L).
The wireless charging function keeps my cockpit organized and clean (less wires) and the vibration dampening gives me confidence that my phone won't vibrate to death like so many phones before. I've got easily 1000 off road miles using this unit and no issues with my phone this far.

Not only was it easy to use, taking the phone in and out, but it kept my iPhone SE fully charged through my Otterbox case. Good thing, as when I tried to charge it with a cord at night, it wouldn’t until the lightning port dried out!

The Adventure Phone Holder is very high quality and very well thought out. The clamps are easy to adjust to get the proper fit for a secure hold. The ability to activate the MagSafe charging ring by pressing a button in the center of the holder, and having the ring turn green to indicate it is on, is genius. I hooked up the wireless charger directly to the battery so I appreciate that I can tell if power is being pulled or not. I highly recommend this product.

I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max with OtterBox Defender cover. It’s about as big as you can get. This design is an engineering marvel. They have taken everything into account for size adjustments. Made from aluminum and possibly machined. My initial reaction after custom fitting every adjustment, is wow! Good job.

I bought an Adventure series external charging mount for my 2024 FLHX. The install was easy and my IPhone loves it. Sits solidly on the bike and stays charged. I use my phone for my navigation. Works great.

It's better than I thought it would be for a rearview mirror ount. Heavy duty and does not vibrate, the all aluminum hardware is exactly what I was looking for. I did have to modify how it mounted up, the rubber inserts that came with it were either loose or to small for my style of mirror. I removed my rearview mirror for ease of working on it, all that it needed was a few wraps of some black tape wrapped around it till the rubber insert was just right for tightening down the clamp. Vechile is a Dodge Ram 2500 4x4.
